Lowcountry Medical Response & Surge Exercise (MRSE) 2024

The MRSE is designed to test and improve our collective response to incidents that significantly surge patients, demanding exceptional coordination and resource allocation among all healthcare partners. The exercise will focus on building upon the strengths and addressing the areas for improvement identified in previous exercises, particularly emphasizing patient tracking, resource optimization, communication efficiency, and performance measure collection.

Participation in this exercise is crucial for us to develop a healthcare delivery system that is resilient and seamless in its care for the populations we serve. It provides a unique opportunity for all partners to engage actively in a simulated environment, allowing us to effectively evaluate our response strategies, communication protocols, and resource allocation mechanisms.
